Zoe's Walk

For the 5th straight year, we've had fun supporting Violet's friend, Zoe, and her family at the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation's annual Walk for Life.  There have been years when it's been really cold at this walk, but not this year!  It was already almost 90 degrees at 10:00 a.m. when the walk started.  The heat didn't keep the boys from playing some of their favorite games, like the football toss and cup pong.
Evelyn was quick to find the sucker tree, and all of the kids enjoyed redeeming their tickets for prizes at the prize table.
Elvis was back this year to serenade my Violet girl, and this was definitely her favorite part of the day!
It was a hot September day for sure, but I am so thankful that we can participate in this walk each year!
This precious friend needs a cure, and we pray that the money raised can help find one soon!
