Ella's First Communion

Yesterday was a special day for my sweet niece, Ella, as she celebrated her First Communion!  Dana had her baby girl looking just perfect for the occasion, and finished the ensemble by letting Ella wear the necklace from her wedding.
Wow!  Isn't she gorgeous?!?
Joy and I got Ella her first real pearls with a charm that had her name inscribed on the front and the date with "First Communion" on the back.  It fit her perfectly, and can be adjusted so hopefully she'll be able to wear it for years to come.
Her hair and veil looked just precious as well.
Ya know what didn't look so precious, however?? These crazy boys outside!  They were having so much fun jumping on the trampoline until Oliver bloodied up his nose.  When I asked them to smile, this is what I got.
Okay, so back to precious now with Baby Grayson and my sweet Evelyn, all ready for church.

All eyes and ears on Ella; not sure what the topic of conversation was!
After lunch was done, the little ones got some reading time with their daddies, and then it was time to go to Mass.
We caught a picture of the special lady with her godfather, Uncle Scottie.
Congratulations, Ella!  We're very proud of you!
