This week we finished up another fun season of flag football for the Dwyer boys! Oliver played quarterback pretty much the entire season and really loved the position. He connected on so many passes and was a big reason that they only lost one game all season!
Coach Gavin drew up their next play, and the team listened intently.
Great season, boys!
Calvin's team was so much fun to watch, too. He rotated positions throughout the season and did great at every one! He made a fine quarterback. . .
. . . running back. . .
. . . and receiver.
He was also a tenacious defender, getting multiple flags every game. Coach Aaron taught them a lot about the game.
Calvin's team went undefeated, and "Big Jack" was a big reason for their success. Jack is a 6th grader and has already hit a big growth spurt. Having him as a target made for a pretty easy touchdown!
These boys had such a fun season with the pig skin!
The Dwyer girls always found plenty to do during the beautiful evenings at the ball fields. Evelyn found Carly to play with. . .
. . . and Violet found an adorable puppy. (It was camo day at school, so please excuse Violet's outfit!)
My boys are so lucky to always have a GREAT cheering section! It wasn't uncommon to have THREE sets of grandparents plus a cousin or two to cheer them on. They don't even realize what a gift that is.
Now that football is over, we get a small break before basketball practices begin, and I'm looking forward to a little down time in our household. But I sure do love watching my boys play the games they love!
