This week, the 9/10 year old baseball teams had a big ol' end of baseball pool party bash! There were a whole bunch of boys filling up the Wellsville pool. . .and a few sisters sprinkled in. Oliver and Calvin tried out their best dives on the diving boards.
Then Oliver tried *unsuccessfully to get Evelyn to go down the slide, and Calvin attempted a few flips off the boards.
Before we knew it, Coach Ryan was calling the team over for their awards. It was so thoughtful of him to make individual awards for each boy on their team.
Calvin got the "Team Ace" award and even Oliver got an award for "12th Man" since he filled in when they were short on players.
What a fun night of swimming with so many friends! My boys were so lucky to have such great baseball coaches this summer. School officially starts in 1 week -- I can't believe summer has flown by so fast!
