My two youngest nieces have birthdays this week: Brynnie turned 4 yesterday and Kyla turns 1 on Saturday! They had a party fit for a princess to celebrate! Grandma Cheryl made some truly elegant cakes for the ladies of honor.
And here are the two birthday girls, ready to party!
They really cleaned up in the gift department!
Brynnie opened up all of her gifts and then was such a good helper with Kyla's gifts.

. . . and she was even less sure (at first) about the cake all over her fingers.
I just love her expressions as she realizes this stuff is pretty yummy!

Miss Violet is definitely in the party mode, as she realizes that her birthday party is coming up in just about a month!
I haven't had the heart to break it to her that her little sister will be having her birthday first! And that, like Brynn, she will likely be sharing parties from here on out -- the more, the merrier, right??
