Calvin's Preschool Party

Calvin had his Christmas party at preschool yesterday, and the kids all had a great time. First, they made "reindeer food" with plenty of magical green sparkles. . .

Then their teacher, Miss Kari, read them "The Night Before Christmas". . .

Then came the obligatory snack time with plenty of yummy sweets. I was noticing how Calvin was the only boy at his table. . . coincidence?

The much-anticipated present time followed. Please notice how nice Calvin is dressed for his party. Russ apparently let him pick out his own clothes for school, and when I got to the party, it was much too late for me to do anything about the ensemble. The best part about it was that he had his school pictures that day, too! (Thankfully, Miss Kari did her best to 'hide' his outfit in the back row.)

They played musical presents as they walked around the carpet squares until the music stopped.

What did Calvin get?

A zhu-zhu pet!

It cracked me up how every single kid in the class came running to show the teacher what they got.

No more school for 2 weeks!
