Today we celebrate the best guy we know on his birthday! It was a pretty low-key day, but the kids made him cards and he had a couple of surprise gifts dropped off throughout the day. I came home from work with some Boston Cream Cake (we realized just how good this in on our return trip to the Poconos this summer!) and cheesecake.
And not the most exciting gift, but something I knew he could use! (This is probably similar to getting a woman a vacuum for her birthday. . .which I would appreciate. So I figured he'd appreciate this, too.)
We are so blessed to have Russ as the head of our household, and we pray 43 is his best year yet!!
