Family Halloween Party

We had our family Halloween party a little early this year, and what a beautiful day we chose!  Along with the kids' cousins, we always do a theme for Halloween costumes each year.  In years' past we've done Circus, Sports Heroes, Fairy Tales, On the Farm, Zoo Animals, Clowns, and Pirates.  (Click here to see pictures from last year's post.) When a couple of the cousins wanted to be witches, we decided we were long overdue for a "traditional" Halloween theme.  So this year, we had 2 witches, 2 jack-o-lanterns, 2 ghosts, a black cat, a black bat, and Lebron James.  Ya, I know Lebron isn't exactly "traditional Halloween", but Tyler really wanted to be him, and if you were his opponent, you'd probably be pretty scared, right??

Family pictures (Syd and Jack thought they were too old to dress up, but that didn't make them exempt from pictures!):
And a picture of Jo & Denny's full family with the Dwyer '49:
 The cute little witches!
The adorable costumes Jo made for the 3 littlest girls:
My Evelyn was really hamming it up as the jack-o-lantern princess!
 She is just so sweet!
I don't think you'll find any cuter pumpkins or ghosts anywhere!
A huge thanks to Grandma Jo for once again making these fabulous costumes for my kiddos!  And thanks for hosting a delicious soup supper for all of the family to enjoy!  I just love that we can get together with all of our family at holidays.  My children don't even know how unusual it is to be able to get together with BOTH sides of the family at the same gathering.  We are so blessed!
