Snow What Fun Sledding

This is how our house has looked for the past couple of weeks. . . Isn't the snow beautiful?

The kids don't have appreciation for the beauty of snow, but they definitely appreciate it for other reasons! When the boots come on, that can only mean one thing (the "kid" in the middle is Grandpa Kermit; Calvin thinks it's really cool that he and Grandpa have matching boots) . . .
. . . SLEDDING!
Calvin would have stayed on the sled all day.

Oliver had fun for about 30 seconds, and then decided it was more fun riding in the truck.
Calvin supervised while Oliver was riding. Another perk of the new house is having a big back yard to go riding around in (you can see the back of our house on the left).
Oliver was much happier being the one in the truck while Calvin rode behind.
And where is the Little Miss? Riding in the warmth of the truck's interior, and enjoying every second.
After the boys had made their solo trips around on the sled, Tyler & Brynn joined them for some doubles action.
First, the younger ones went, and had a GREAT time! Oliver enjoyed the ride so much more when sharing it with Brynnie! Of course, Daddy gave them a pretty tame ride. . .

. . . Unlike the ride he gave Tyler & Calvin. (You'll just have to take my word that it is indeed Tyler & Calvin on --and off-- the sled.)

And this is the view from the sledder's perspective. Of course the adults had to take a turn as well -- What fun!
