Russ doesn't typically get me anything for my birthday (I tell him not to worry about it), but 2 years ago he made an exception. That was the year Oliver was born, and we spent my birthday at Children's Mercy. He knew I was borderline depressed with everything going on, and so with the assistance of Joy & Dana bought me a beautiful mother's necklace. After Violet was born, he surprised me with the sapphire baby ring to add to my chain. The boys love looking at the little rings and telling me which one is for each of them and which one is Violet's.
I just love this necklace, a constant reminder of my little miracles I've been entrusted with.
