Power of the Past

This weekend is the 25th annual Power of the Past Tractor Show in Ottawa.  And this was the 11th consecutive year that our family has been in attendance!  As soon as we walked in, Oliver found #tractorgoals.  Check out the size of this thing!
Then before we looked at all of the remaining tractors, we stopped by to see the girls' favorite part: the petting zoo!  The llamas and baby goats were the highlights.
My husband is so adorable (unlike this super scary goat). And he will do anything to make his girls laugh.
This goat had Vi laughing so hard when he stole the food cup right out of Russ' hand.
The last couple of years we've gone on Friday evening and enjoyed the free ham and beans dinner (and homemade corn bread, of course).  It's so yummy!
Once our bellies were full, we set off to check out all of the beautiful old tractors, with the featured tractors being Fords this year.
The boys got their traditional pictures in front of "their" tractors.
Violet got her picture by one of the featured Fords. . .
. . . and Evelyn couldn't decide between the bumblebee and the Porsche.
I also made her get one by the John Deere because it matched her shirt.
It definitely feels like fall when it's Tractor Show time!
