We recently celebrated a couple of sweet birthday girls, Brynnie and Kyla Kay! Brynn just turned 9 and Kyla turned 6 -- how did that happen so fast?
We had a great time celebrating with them at their house. Sara treated us to a delicious Mexican feast and then the girls tore into their gifts.
Grandma Cheryl made a cake with their favorite sports balls on it. . .
. . . and we sang to the birthday girls. Then it was time to cut into that cake and enjoy Uncle Kyle's famous homemade ice cream.
We spent the rest of the evening playing outside and enjoying some family time. I love how much my kids love spending time with their cousins. They are truly best friends.
And we can't forget the birthday BOY whose birthday falls right between the two birthday girls we were celebrating: Happy Birthday Uncle John!
Late August/September is such a busy time for birthdays in our family. I love that it gives us extra reasons to get together. Next up: the Dwyer girls in a couple of short weeks!
