Yesterday was my beautiful Mother-in-Law's 60th birthday, and we girls went out to celebrate! We ate a delicious dinner at the Bird Dog restaurant inside the Oread hotel in Lawrence. This hotel is really something else.
The birthday girl shared her decadent turtle cheesecake with everyone.
It was an absolutely perfect evening and after dinner we first went to the 5th floor terrace to check out the views.

The sunset was just gorgeous.
We had a great evening and I'm very thankful that I am blessed with such wonderful moms in my life. It was so nice spending the evening just relaxing and visiting.
Thank you Jo for all you do for me and my children -- We love you so much and hope your 60s are every bit as wonderful and memorable as your 50s were. You added 7 grandkids in your last decade of life, but you'll get to really watch them grow up in this next decade. Thank you for being there for us and loving our kids as much as we do! Happy Birthday, Grandma Jo!!
