Easter afternoon was spent at Grandma Shirley and Grandpa Evan's house where we enjoyed a wonderful Easter dinner, plenty of conversation with all of the family, and the final egg hunt of the season for the kiddos. Laura and Bryant had my girls well-taken care of . (Just like at Christmas, Bryant had Evelyn asleep in no time. . .)
The kids enjoyed their dinner on the back patio in the gorgeous weather.
When Evie woke up from her nap, Jenna kept her plenty entertained.
Then it was time for the egg hunt. Aunt Candy explained the rules and each kid had a special color egg they could keep.
Violet gathered the purple eggs, Oliver got the orange, and Calvin found all of the yellow ones.
In addition to the eggs, each of the children had an awesome basket hidden just for them, FULL of goodies!
Evelyn's first Easter basket was a huge hit! This girl is ready to dig in!
More of the egg-hunting fun. . .
Kohen showing Violet how to work Evelyn's new pinwheel. . .
What a wonderful Easter spent with family! And what a priceless gift we have been given, salvation through Jesus our Savior. He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed! Alleluia!
