It's definitely feeling like summertime with temperatures in the 90s the past several days, and as always, the pool in town is the most popular place to cool off.
Who's that handsome dude in the stand, anyway? Well my firstborn decided he'd like to get paid to go to the pool every day, and being the fish that he is, he had no problem passing the necessary exams to become a lifeguard.
He knows that lifeguarding is a very serious job and already had to jump in after a child during his first week. But I know he's also having a lot of fun. And how could you not, with this crew as your coworkers??
So the coworkers are some of his best buddies, the commute is a piece of cake, and he's getting paid to go to the pool every day (even if it is minimum wage) -- Here's to a great summer job for my Calvin!
