I love it that my kids have plenty of cousins around (as well as each other) so that they learn to share early on. Last evening, Brynn found one of Violet's pacifiers and offered it to her.
Violet was not all that interested (she can't physically suck, so the pacifier just doesn't have all that much appeal, ya know), but Brynn gave her a second chance to take it before. . .
. . . she decided she'd just keep it for herself! Violet was not bothered by the outcome at all with this one.
Later, however, Brynn found Violet's headband and decided to put it on. "Wait a second, that's my head attachment. Your head doesn't require it; you have that soft blonde stuff. What's more, it doesn't even match your outfit!"
"Mom, are you really going to just sit by and watch this happen?!? She has MY HEADBAND!"
So Violet is learning to share early, just like we like. . .
